Refinished office chair (2017)

This chair is very special to me, as it belonged first to my grandfather, and then to my late uncle.  In inherited it this year, and so I spent part of my Christmas holiday refinishing it.  These kinds of chairs are actually pretty easy to find on Kijiji/Craigslist, as they were mass-produced for many years.  Despite being mass produced, the chair uses some very nicely figured maple for its construction that really came alive after I refinished it.  Best of all, this chair makes a perfect complement for the desk I built in 2015 (also maple).
