Scotian Roots Heritage Carpentry (2015)

My friend recently started his own carpentry business in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and asked me to design him a logo. His training is in heritage carpentry which is a branch of carpentry concerned with restoring and preserving historic buildings, although he also does new construction. Initially he was going into business as ‘himself’, and so that was the first logo I made, but later he decided on the name ‘Scotian Roots’ for his business.
