I originally made this video for the Fall 2014 session of NEUR1201 at Carleton. I knew I would be missing one lecture due to my attendance at the Society for Neuroscience meeting that week, but I didn’t want to cancel class. This video was made in the ‘sped up Sharpie’ style of educational video that seems to be all the rage on YouTube these days. Since it’s intended to substitute for a full class, it’s much longer and more detailed than those sorts of videos usually are. Since it was so well received, I used this video again when I taught NEUR1201 in the Summer 2015 semester.
